Troubleshooting SkyTrak LED Lights

The front of your SkyTrak Launch Monitor has three lights which will show as off, Red, Amber, or Green. The below table will indicate what the combinations of colors mean and how to troubleshoot if they indicate an issue with the device.

 

Power LED Wi-Fi LED Ready LED Description
Battery is low, needs to be charged.
In Direct Connect Mode, waiting for connection to application on your tablet or PC.
In Network Mode, searching for Wi-Fi networks.
In Network Mode, it has located network and is attempting to connect.
In Network Mode, it has made connection with network and is waiting for connection with application on your tablet or PC.
SkyTrak Launch Monitor is connected to application. If Ready light does not turn green quickly, check position of the launch monitor.
SkyTrak Launch Monitor is ready.
SkyTrak Launch Monitor is charging.
SkyTrak Launch Monitor is charging, but power is inadequate. It may take longer to charge.

 

 

When charging, if amber light does not come on:

  • Press and hold power button for 5 seconds.
  • Verify USB cable is getting power by trying it in multiple outlets.

 

All 3 lights are red then unit turns off:

  • The battery is low, needs to be charged.

 

Wi-Fi light is not turning green:

  • Make sure device is connected.
  • Once in application if light is still not green, try restarting application.
