SkyTrak App does not find device on iPad

If the SkyTrak application on your iPad is unable to find your SkyTrak for Direct Mode, while connected to the SkyTrak_######### WiFi network, please check the following setting on your iPad.

 

Due to new security changes on iOS (Apple) devices, users must allow each app access to device on the local WiFi network.  This is required for the SkyTrak application to communicate with the SkyTrak device.

 

  1. Open Settings
  2. Scroll down to Privacy
  3. Open Local Network
  4. Turn on access for SkyTrak
